PHYSICAL SECURITY INFRASTRUCTURE
Secure Physical Spaces Through Connected Technology
Novatelia supports physical security infrastructure for commercial, enterprise and hospitality environments, including CCTV, access control, surveillance equipment and connected building systems.
Solutions are specified around the site layout, equipment requirements, network infrastructure, operational needs and agreed project scope for organizations in Oman and across the GCC.
Physical security concerns cameras, access devices and building-connected systems. Network cybersecurity is addressed separately in Novatelia's Cybersecurity solution family.

How Physical Security Systems Connect
Physical security deployments may include distinct video, access-control and building-device systems that share or connect through appropriately segmented network infrastructure.
CCTV and video
IP cameras connect through PoE or the site network to a recorder or VMS, then to an authorized viewing client. Bandwidth, storage and viewing permissions are design inputs. This website does not show a live camera.
Access control
A reader accepts a credential. A controller makes the decision and actuates a lock or turnstile. A door sensor and event record apply where the selected equipment supports them. A reader is not drawn as directly driving a lock when the architecture uses a controller.
Smart building connectivity
Temperature, humidity or leak sensors reach a compatible gateway or network and then a monitoring interface. This is not a full building management system, and HVAC, elevators or fire systems are not automatically controlled.
Illustrative system architecture. Final equipment, protocols, integrations, storage capacity and operational functionality depend on the approved site design.
VIDEO SURVEILLANCE
Camera Coverage, Recording and Video Management
Video surveillance design considers camera placement, image requirements, connectivity, power, recording infrastructure and authorized access to video. IP camera selection, field of view, lighting, PoE capacity, bandwidth, recorder or VMS choice, retention and viewing permissions are project inputs. No incident-detection guarantee or arbitrary storage capacity is published, and this page does not show a live feed.
PHYSICAL ACCESS CONTROL
Manage Entry Through Defined Hardware and Policies
Readers, controllers, credentials, locks, turnstiles, door monitoring, schedules and event records depend on the selected devices. This page does not claim universal facial recognition or biometric function.
SMART HOSPITALITY ACCESS
Electronic Access for Guestroom Environments
Hospitality smart-entry solutions can include specified guestroom locks and related networking or administrative integration. Lock hardware, credential technology, door compatibility, installation, power or battery needs, and integration constraints are reviewed per project. Integration with every property-management system, and mobile-key support, are not assumed.
CONNECTED BUILDING DEVICES
The Network Behind Building Monitoring Devices
IoT gateways, PoE, temperature, humidity and leak-detection sensors, device segmentation and approved interfaces are the published smart-building scope. They are not an automatically included complete BMS.
DEFINED WITHIN THE PROJECT DESIGN
Additional Systems Specified When Required
These topics are specified inside a design. They are not independently published service pages.
Biometrics
Biometric readers or facial terminals may be specified where supported by the approved access-control design.
Time attendance
Selected access controllers may record relevant entry or attendance events. Payroll and HR systems are separate software requirements.
ANPR
ANPR-capable cameras and lane-related equipment may be specified for a defined vehicle entrance. This is not a traffic-authority function.
Intercom
Door stations and intercom hardware may be included as part of an access system.
Video walls
Display equipment may be specified for a room or monitoring environment. This website does not show a live wall.
Command center infrastructure
Room equipment, networking and displays may be specified as physical infrastructure. This does not represent a staffed monitoring service.
Intrusion detection
Physical alarm sensors and panels may be included in an agreed security design. Network intrusion prevention stays with cybersecurity.
IoT gateways and environmental monitoring
Compatible gateways and sensors may be included within the published smart-building network scope.
EQUIPMENT & MANUFACTURER SELECTION
Security Equipment Selected Against Site Requirements
Equipment sourcing considers manufacturer model numbers, compatibility, camera and recorder requirements, access-control interfaces and the approved technical design. Hikvision is one manufacturer in that portfolio, linked from its brand page. It is not the only possible manufacturer, and no reseller badge, price or stock level is published here.
SITE INFRASTRUCTURE
The Connectivity Behind Physical Security
Cabling, PoE budgets, cabinets, network segmentation, fiber uplinks where needed, door wiring, power, labeling and relevant installation checks follow the site. Not every installation uses the same hardware. A security VLAN does not by itself provide cybersecurity.
RESPONSIBLE SYSTEM DESIGN
Physical Security Requires Clear Operational Controls
Authorized viewing, user permissions, recording retention, biometric privacy, event-log access, device credentials, network restrictions and firmware management are operational controls. This page does not claim automatic privacy-law compliance or a certified control room, and it does not collect biometric data.

PHYSICAL SECURITY QUESTIONS
Physical Security & Smart Systems — Frequently Asked Questions
What physical security solutions does Novatelia provide?
Novatelia's published physical security scope covers CCTV, surveillance equipment, access control, Hikvision product sourcing, smart-building network devices and hospitality smart entry.
Is Hikvision part of the cybersecurity portfolio?
No. Hikvision is classified under physical security and its own brand page, primarily for cameras, recorders and access terminals.
Can CCTV and access control use the same building network?
They may share underlying site infrastructure where the architecture, segmentation, capacity and equipment requirements support it. Application-level integration is not automatic.
Does Novatelia provide a staffed control room?
No staffed control-room service is published on this page. Room equipment, displays and network infrastructure may be specified within a project design.
Is a full building management system included?
No. The published smart-building scope concerns network connectivity, relevant gateways and environmental sensors rather than a complete building-control sequence.
Does time attendance include HR or payroll software?
No. This page covers relevant events generated by an access-control system. HR and payroll software are outside the published physical-security scope.
Can biometric devices be included?
Compatible biometric devices may be evaluated as part of an agreed access-control design, subject to technical, privacy and operational requirements.
Can Novatelia prepare a security equipment BOM?
A project-specific equipment schedule can be developed through an agreed assessment or quotation process after the site and technical requirements are defined.
