Those figures are test-condition specifications, not a guaranteed fault-finding distance. Event dead zone and attenuation dead zone are different. Filtered 1625 nm or 1650 nm in-service testing is not copied from 100A or 100B onto 100AS. The label may describe a series rather than a complete orderable kit with every connector and software option.
P5000i Fiber Inspection
FBP-P5000i is a digital inspection probe. Automated analysis, where the software and profile support it, refers to IEC 61300-3-35 end-face criteria. IEC 61300 alone is a broader family and is not used as the claim. Inspection PASS/FAIL is not an optical-loss measurement and not a link certificate. Cited VIAVI support text says calibration is not required for this microscope and functional verification is recommended. A calibration certificate is not offered for it on this page.
