Centralized Visibility & Detection
A SIEM collects logs, normalizes them, and correlates events so an engineer can investigate. UEBA and security analytics are parts of that design, not separate Novatelia products. The page is for Oman and GCC environments that need a telemetry plan. It does not staff a 24/7 security operations center.

Definition
Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) aggregates, normalizes, and correlates log telemetry across operating systems, directory services, firewalls, and applications. Integrated User and Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA) establishes baseline activity to spotlight privilege misuse, lateral movement, and data exfiltration.

Questions this page answers
What is SIEM, and why is it necessary for enterprise IT?
SIEM stands for Security Information and Event Management. It centralizes log data generated across hundreds of separate devices (servers, firewalls, routers, domain controllers), correlates events to detect multi-stage attacks, and preserves historical logs required for forensic investigations and compliance audits.
What is UEBA (User and Entity Behavior Analytics)?
UEBA uses statistical baselining and machine learning to understand typical behavior for every user and machine in the network. When an account logs in from an unusual location, accesses sensitive files outside business hours, or transfers abnormal data volumes, UEBA raises an alert even if no static rule was breached.
Can an organization deploy SIEM without an external 24/7 SOC provider?
Yes. Many enterprises deploy internal SIEM platforms to centralize log retention, automate compliance reports, and enable internal IT teams to receive real-time email alerts for high-priority security anomalies during business hours.
