Terms and Conditions

Novatelia is the shared brand of two companies. These terms are agreed with the company that sells to you, which depends on the delivery country.

These terms cover orders for products and services sold by Novatelia. Requests on novatelia.com are made by request for quotation (RFQ); an RFQ and a quotation are not orders. Where a written quotation states different terms, the quotation applies to that order.

Orders for delivery in Oman are priced and paid in Omani rial (OMR) and sold by the Oman company. Orders for delivery in the UAE and other GCC countries are priced and paid in UAE dirham (AED) and sold by the UAE company.

The price that applies is the price in the quotation or order confirmation. Prices are stated before VAT; VAT at 5% is added and shown on the invoice issued by the selling company. For deliveries outside the seller's country, VAT, customs duties and import charges follow the rules of the destination country. They are paid by the customer unless the quotation or checkout states otherwise, and are shown before you pay.

An order is placed by accepting a quotation or by an order you send us, and it receives an order reference. The selling company confirms the order in writing and states how and when payment is due.

The sale is concluded when the selling company has confirmed the order in writing. Novatelia may decline or cancel an unpaid order, for example if an item is no longer available or a price was stated in error; you will be told by email.

Payment is made as stated in the order confirmation or invoice. Where online card payment is offered, it is made on the secure page of the payment provider: for Oman orders through the Bank Muscat payment gateway (including OmanNet debit cards), and for UAE and GCC orders through Tap Payments. Card details are entered only on the provider's page. Novatelia does not receive or store full card numbers or security codes. See the Privacy Policy.

Delivery areas, times and costs are set out in the Shipping Policy. Items are dispatched as stated in the order confirmation.

Returns, refunds and cancellations are covered by the Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Items carry the manufacturer warranty stated for the item, if any. Novatelia does not add a separate warranty unless it is stated in writing for the order.

To the extent permitted by law, Novatelia's liability for an order is limited to the amount paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited by law.

Orders sold by MUHAMMED JAN MAJEEDI TRADING SPC are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman, and the courts of Muscat have jurisdiction.

Orders sold by NOVATELIA INTERNATIONAL TRADING L.L.C are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, and the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction.

This does not affect your rights under the consumer protection laws of Oman (Royal Decree 66/2014) and the UAE (Federal Law 15/2020).
