Frequently asked questions

What is a pitot-static leak check?

A test in which the tester pressurises the pitot or static system and measures the leak rate over a timed interval [3].

Is a two-channel tester needed?

Two channels let pitot and static be controlled at the same time, which is how the 6300 sets altitude and airspeed together [3].
