Cybersecurity
SIEM is software that collects logs from the systems an organization already runs and turns them into events a person can search and investigate. It does not watch a network by itself, and it is not a staffed security operations center. Novatelia’s published work is the design and integration of that pipeline. A round-the-clock watch is not a published offer.

Key points
- Logs come from systems the organization already operates.
- An alert still needs a person and a written scope.
- A SIEM design is not a security operations center.
Definition
Security information and event management stores and correlates log records. The value is a searchable history and a smaller set of events, not a promise that every attack will be noticed.
How it works
Sources send logs to a collector. The platform normalizes fields, applies the rules the customer agrees, and keeps the records for the retention the license and the disk actually allow. Someone then decides which events become an investigation.
Architecture
- Sources: firewalls, identity, endpoints, and the applications in scope.
- Pipeline: collection, parsing, and the correlation rules that are written down.
- Use: search, an investigation record, and a handoff that names who responds.
Use cases
- A team needs one place to search authentication and firewall logs.
- A project must keep a log history for a stated retention period.
- An investigation needs the same event viewed from more than one system.
Selection guidance
- Name the log sources before naming a product.
- Confirm the license covers those sources and the retention.
- Keep the response path on the incident-response service, not inside the product name.
Questions
Does a SIEM replace a security team?
No. The software stores and correlates events. A person still decides what an alert means and what action follows. Publishing a SIEM page does not publish a staffed watch or a response time.
Where is this scoped on the site?
The SIEM and security analytics solution describes the design. Deployment is a separate service. ManageEngine Log360 is one product reference, not a statement that every project uses it.

This page defines a term so a project can be scoped. It is not a certification, a test result, or a price. Partnerships are stated only on the partners page. The published address and telephone are the company contact, not a service-level commitment.
Describe the requirement
An RFQ saves a browser draft. It does not publish a price or issue a quotation reference.
